During the 1984 election President Reagan’s age was front and center as an issue. Reagan was 73 years old at that time.

When Reagan COMPLETED his second term he was the same age Biden will be at the START of his first term if he wins.

With a Biden victory, should anything happen to him making him unable to serve, Kamala Harris of San Francisco will become President of the United States. Just alone the thought of that possibility is sufficient to cause people to vote overwhelmingly for Trump in November.

It’s funny that I mostly post exactly what Trump says but Trump supporters denounce the posting of Trump’s statements… Weird.

Those are pretty simple direct statements by Trump.

Do you really advise other people to listen to Trump and his demon sperm doctor and the My Pillow guy about Covid-19?

Would you support Biden if he made statements like that? If Biden said: “It’s a hoax, it’s not real, it’s the sniffles, it’ll go away like a miracle, it will disappear in April, by Easter, with the heat, with a dose of disinfectant, with hydroxychloroquine, with oleandrin, and with advice from The Pillow guy.”

“Also, don’t wear a mask, don’t shut anything down, and the virus is a personal plot against him.”

As for close family members of Trump and associates of Trump that comment on him and his behavior, is every one of them lying or delusional? All the former employees, generals, cabinet secretaries, staff, lawyers, investors?

Remember, every one of these people has more actual experience running an organization, more education, and more understanding of how things work than Trump. He has almost zero real experience. He doesn’t even read contracts. We know this because he says so. His whole life he’s just been a multi-millionaire who tells people what to do but he doesn’t know how to run things or run a good organization. He has been involved in thousands of law suits, many brought by him. What kind of intelligent businessman behaves like that?

His sister, Mary Anne Barry, despaired because he apparently hadn’t read any of her judicial decisions even though she sent them to him. What kind of anger and hatred does a man like that have just to dismiss his sister’s work and ignore her?

Has a sitting President ever not run for a second term? Age certainly would be an even bigger factor in 2024, but admitting now that it could prevent him from even running for a second term would cause a lot of second guessing.

I am unaware of President Trump expressing or even being accused of familial hatred, even for his sister with whom he has striking political disagreement.

When she refused to attend that funeral she was engaging in hatred by association. That is really “out there” on the scale of hatred. It is though, in its own way, quite illuminating.

I believe President Johnson declined to run in 1968.

I seem to recall his words back then were something like:

I shall not seek, and I will not accept, my party’s nomination for POTUS

That is from memory. His announcement was something like that I think.

Anger and hatred? That is a misattribution. You should at least be able to agree there are stark political differences extant today in our country. You can find evidence of this right here on this thread for goodness sake!! The title of this thread also references the cold civil war today ongoing in America, as well as the world war between nationalists, like Trump and his supporters, and globalists. Most Democrats are globalists.

Trump does not dismiss his sister’s writings out of hatred. It is instead her very left wing politics with which, he knows in advance, he disagrees. He eschews their drivel. So do I. We do not do it on account of hatred. It is instead because we believe they are nuts . . . . completely wrong on the issues.

As between committed capitalists and committed socialists there is not a whole lot of common ground.

My best info right now is that it’s merely therapeutic plasma of some sort. You know Trump, he always ballyhoos everything.

However, it might be something really special. Nobody will know for certain until later today. i plan to be watching if I’m able to find the event. Right now nothing is showing on White House live as being in the offing. Does Trump expect the networks to carry this? Not gonna happen. They hate him.

Fair enough. But it comes back to caring more about what Trump does than what he says.

As a supporter I care more about what he has done:

I want a wall

I want law and order

I want conservative judges appointed

I want jobs for as many people as possible and not a bunch of regulations which make those jobs impossible to realize

I want my country OUT of foreign entanglements and treaties which threaten a Constitution I prize

And just generally, I DO NOT want more socialism of any sort

Trump’s sister made direct statements about Trump in a private conversation of what she observed and knew about him. Trump certainly admits to not reading. So his sister was just stating the facts. Trump acolytes, who believe in demon sperm and the My Pillow guy interpret any statement not 100% supporting Trump as hatred and anger. It sounds to me like she was just observing how he is and how he behaves toward her and others. Yet they can’t see that as they’ve blocked off all learning and ability to discern to resort to personal smears.

I realize that dishonorable behavior of this sort is so commonplace among leftists that it scarcely merits mention. Nevertheless, not being a leftist myself I thought I would mention it, since decent people care about such things.

No, I wouldn’t follow Biden. But, I would think about the 40+ years of Biden’s record & compare with the 3+ record of Trump.

The list is long, promises made & kept, Thousands begging at the gate to get in (sure I would want in also). 300+ miles of walls to help keep intruders out. Not only people but illegal drugs of all sorts.
Trump made a good offer to DACA recipients & lefty loonies refused.

Thousands of folks have hatred of politicians but NOT even 1 minute after election when we heard IMPEACH Trump. That’s the height hate for the man who hadn’t even stepped in the door of the White House.

You have to bear in mind the hatred harbored by communists all around the world for capitalism. And “all around the world” in this instance includes the Democrat party in America, which is now part of the worldwide communist movement.

Communists believe fervently in their preferences. And they accurately view traditional America, and our Constitution, as the single greatest impediment to their achievement of communist domination globally.
