Did you really just claim that it’s illegal to follow the rest of your group to the amusement park or to dinner?
No, I didn’t.
It’s legal to follow someone or a group of vehicles. But not directly behind them without space for other vehicles between each. (That’s in Red state, TX, anyways). Which is generally what people refer to as a caravan – multiple vehicles immediately following each other, not just spaces out normally and in visual range.
It’s also not legal to violate a curfew and simultaneously drive through crowded city streets that have been closed off by local authorities to vehicular traffic. Even if they were not threatening people with rifles and shooting them.
This has been delightful read this morning. Laughing out loud.
I don’t know what Honkinggoose does for a living, but I nominate him to work on The Trump campaign.
Great posting. IMO
Most? Wrong. I would say virtually all of Donald Trump’s America is peaceful . . . . bucolic even.
People in the several places where there is trouble do not in general vote for President Trump . . . or even vote Republican for that matter. That’s their problem.
The 2020 choice is becoming pretty well defined as we move into September.
Trump campaign tenets: Defund police (cut their budgets, approve no funding for expenses related to the current crises). Defund social security. Decrease covid19 testing, no effort to control the virus. Tear down American Institutions - Justice Department, government accountability, national science Institutions, Intelligence agencies, the military (diverting appropriated funds), even the Post Office. Increase pandemic economic fallout through negligence and incompetence. Stoke racial tensions and encourage violence across America. Defend despots and dictators, push their policies, continue to be Putin’s puppet. Anything if Trump thinks it will benefit Trump personally.
Biden campaign policies: Increase police funding. Reforms to address systemic law enforcement problems. End the violence Trump has besieged cities across the country with. Follow the best-in-the-world medical/scientific advice to reduce the duration and amount of life and economic fallout from the now out-of-control Trump-Virus. Offset spending with rolling back of the recent large tax-cut-giveaways to the ultra wealthy. Help Americans heal and resolve the divisiveness. Rebuild battered national institutions. Rebuild infrastructure, with Buy-American source requirements not directing federal funds to Trump’s foreign “friends”. Restore America’s leadership and reputation on the world stage.
WRONG!!
Looks to me like you substituted Biden’s name in the wrong column. Biden’s helpers have decided that Trumps way looks good, so why not pretend it’s our way.
Biden doesn’t know the difference. He just reads the prompter & he’s out & about & on his way.
Don’t you think we Republicans know the difference. We have watched Biden in his basement for months now. He said he wouldn’t come out until after Labor Day. What’s up, did the folks see the writing on the wall?
Republicans do. Many of them were at the DNC a few weeks ago.
People don’t need to guess what “Trump’s America” looks like. They’ve been dealing with it all year. Now they want to Make America Great Again, like it was before the Trump mess.
I know, they do not need to guess when they’re the ones who created it…
Do not confuse RINOs with real Republicans. Real Republicans follow President Donald J. Trump. Confused and adrift RINOs follow only phantoms which, at times, bear a resemblance to Democrats of old.
Salty much?
A political party bands together with common ideals and platform positions, not in blind servitude of a Putin psychophant.
Every four years since 1856, the GOP has produced a party platform. Not this year. The “party” now official stands for nothing at all, just like Trump.
So who here agrees with the 2020 GOP platform?
For sure, Trump knows “thugs.” And if he says someone else saw thugs on a plane, then of course it must be true.
Wait! A plane loaded with thugs? Would that be Air Force One with Trump, Stephen Miller, the Trump family, Sean Hannity, and staff members?
What a cruel, vicious, irresponsible, nasty man, throwing out his own made-up rumors. This is utterly unacceptable behavior for an American President.
I seem to recall way back that Trump claimed without evidence that his his phones were being tapped. He was thereafter constantly hee-hawed, criticized, and made sport of by left wing rounders.
When it much later was determined he was correct, I’m pretty certain those on the left did not apologize. Being a liberal means never having to say you’re sorry.
The actual claim was that Obama ordered his phones tapped and Obama was spying on his campaign.
Or if you want the direct quote:"“How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!,”
The CIA doing their primary function of monitoring communication with foreign adversaries who are undermining US National Security is not “Obama tapp[ing] my phones.”
And I say it is. That is the very same wildly politically biased deep swamp CIA, saturated with Obama functionaries, that leaked Trump’s conversations even after he was inaugurated.
Give me a break.
"President Donald Trump made several bogus assertions in an off-the-rails interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Monday night.
-
Trump claimed, without evidence, that people in the “dark shadows” were controlling Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign.
-
Trump also compared police officers who use excessive force to golfers missing a putt.
-
Ingraham interjected at several points to ask Trump whether he really meant what he was saying, but the president kept doubling down.
Later in the interview, the president compared police officers who shoot people in the back to golfers missing a putt.
“They choke. Just like in a golf tournament, they miss a 3-foot putt,” Trump said."
Trump began his hour-long interview with Laura Ingraham by saying “Portland has been burning for many years, for decades it’s been burning,” which is a lie."
Denials of things no one has said revealing truths?? Do we really want to chance a president pence? I guess the incapability to hold water or descend a ramp might make sense now.
"CHIEF CRITIC
Several journalists noted that nobody had reported on the “mini-strokes” Trump referenced in his tweet. “So the president is denying something that no one has actually reported – that he had a series of mini-strokes,” tweeted New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, who clarified, “At least, no actual reporter has reported.”
BIG NUMBER
33%. That’s the percentage of voters who rated Trump’s health as “poor” in a Politico/Morning Consult poll in June, compared to 27% who said the same of Biden."
It starts to become obvious why Munchkin was refusing to comply with mandated Congressional oversight.
Over 600 loans for nearly $100 million went to companies that had been debarred or suspended from doing business with the federal government. More than 350 loans worth nearly $200 million went to government contractors flagged by the federal government for performance or integrity issues. Over 11,000 PPP borrowers had red flags in the government’s System for Award Management, such as mismatched addresses.
I wasnt aware that such things made a business ineligible? Kind of like the chain restaurants being shamed for taking a piece, when the rules were written specifically to include them.
