The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 1)

So kind not calling him out as a repeated liar.

It’s still relatively early in the Biden presidency, so patterns are hard to discern. But there are three claims President Biden has made that appear impervious to fact-checking, given that he’s already said them at least three times. Some readers have noticed, sending us puzzled emails about why the president keeps making these statements.

But he does keep lying about covid deaths compared to wars, the GE voting law, and how Trump’s tax cuts disproportionately benefited the very wealthy (80% of the benefits, vs actually 20%).

Yes, I am kind not calling out the repeated liars. That fact check does not say what shinobi claimed it does, it only looks at other statements that were inaccurate or not specific enough for them (having multiple possible interpretations, where at least one would be incorrect will rightly earn “Pinocchios”). So either shinobi was referring to a different fact check or just made it all up.

The new, restrictive law prohibits people from providing water to people in line, the only exception is if the government magnanimously is the one providing the water. What are the odds the legislature will allocate funds for providing extra staff and amenities?

So stupid. Have you ever almost died in line. waiting to vote, for need of water.

Liberal lunatics don’t give people of color any credit for thinking for themselves. When you are thinking you’ll have a long wait to do something, don’t you bring your own water?

This time we are only referring to the present POTUS as a repeating liar…

There are no lines in areas that the Qop governors want votes from, only where they want to suppress votes. (Less funding, requiring polls spaced further apart and less staffing in more populated areas, restrictions on metro dropbox counts vs rural, etc). I have stood in line over 4hrs to vote in TX. We have many weeks in the year with high temperatures over 100F and still 90F (but humid) at even 9-10PM, well after sunset. Election day is not a holiday, so along with other reasons most working people do not even have such an option and some are unable to vote with these artificially induced lines intended to suppress votes.

It would not necessarily be a Qop specific practice to suppress votes and influence the election, however, that’s just how it currently is. Only the QOP party is suppressing legal votes. The people states with Democrat governors/ legislatures are not currently engaging in these illegal tactics.

It is well past the time where Federal government should establish some enforceable minimum rules for voting rights to reduce the abuses.

I never stand in line for more than a few minutes to vote. Maybe just a country thing.
We have hot weather here in CA also. My question for you… do you depend on others to bring you water if you are thirsty?

Just political nonsense. :grimacing: Voting rights… as I said before, anyone that does not have an ID card today is still pretty stupid & should not be voting anyway…

I usually send my vote through the mail most times.

Guns for me and not for thee, Biden edition. We’ll see what he’s got in store with his latest dictatorial executive order.

All across the country Republicans were removing voting locations in urban and minority areas, making it take vastly longer for people in those locations to vote. Here in Cleveland the Republican controlled state government tried to rig it so there was a single ballot drop box for the entire city, we eventually were granted a second drop box…

“When Wisconsin tried to hold a presidential primary election during the pandemic, Milwaukee officials opened just five polling places for the entire city. One study said that difficult access and long lines reduced turnout by more than 8% — and more than 10% for Black voters. (AP photo by Morry Gash)”

" This year alone, 10 counties with large black populations in Georgia closed polling spots after a white elections consultant recommended they do so to save money."

“Other US states, including those that did not have special requirements under the Voting Rights Act, have also been accused of using long waits at polling sites to suppress voters.

The surge led to hours-long waits at polling stations, including a line of voters in the city of Columbus that stretched about 0.4 kilometres (0.25 miles) on the first day the polls opened, the AP reported.”

We lead the planet in incarceration.

his state is even higher, at around 900.

‘Why can’t we just shoot homeless people?’ asks guy on OAN.

This IL Senator was changing his tune on bail reform when the guy who assaulted him was promptly let back out.

Or what about this white supremacist who was kicking some old Asian lady in the head after being release on parole for killing his own mother?

Letting all these folks out seems to be working so well, given last years violence stats and covid/bail releasing of criminals, maybe we should just defund the police so they aren’t caught in the first place? Then we can pretend the crimes don’t happen so we won’t have to admit who’s committing them or actually keep them in jail.

“Fight systemic racism”

Here’s the GA Secretary of State debunking the lies told about their voting bill.

It’s more important than ever not to get your political “news” from BlueAnon sources, as shown below.

https://mobile.twitter.com/hashtag/BlueAnon?src=hashtag_click

Yes let’s just ignore the QOP actual arguments in court, where they say the quiet part out loud: it’s not about “election security”, it’s about legislating disenfranchisement of voters who support another candidate/ party and to legislate an unfair advantage in elections.

Instead Twitter hashtags are sources now… right…

Back on topic: Where is that WP fact check claiming there is no restriction on handing water to people in line? It was a long winded expression of fake outrage that the restriction is still widely discussed, and three QOP sheep in the thread apparently agree with it. Where is the referenced fact check?

The woke qop cancel-facts culture ses to be going too far.

You may have me on a technicality. The Biden lies are so numerous it becomes a challenge to keep them all straight. Without question Biden was awarded four pinocchios on a couple of his other statements regarding the new, very fair, Georgia voting law. Here is the truth about water:

As CNSNews.com has reported, another widely misrepresented part of the new Georgia law involves the provision of water and/or food for voters waiting in line.

On Friday, March 26, President Biden told reporters that Georgia “passed a law saying you can’t provide water for people standing in line while they’re waiting to vote. You don’t need anything else to know that this is nothing but punitive, designed to keep people from voting. You can’t provide water for people about to vote? Give me a break.

But that’s not what the law says.

The law says “no person shall solicit votes” by offering to give “money or gifts, including, but not limited to food and drink” to voters standing in line.

But a footnote on page 71 of the bill says: "This Code section shall not be construed to prohibit a poll officer … from making available self-service water from an unattended receptacle to an elector waiting in line to vote."

The provision is intended to prevent political partisans from approaching waiting voters, handing them water, or food, or gifts, or whatever – then urging them to vote for so-and-so. That is called voter solicitation.

But clearly, the goal of Georgia law is not to prevent thirsty voters from helping themselves to water, if it’s available; or if they can’t plan ahead and bring their own.

These sorts of “no solicitation” rules at a polling place are commonplace all across the country. You cannot offer water in a container which says “Vote for Jones”. But you can offer water. It is not illegal despite Biden’s phony claim. And CBS is well aware of this.

Yes, the poll officers are rich, they’re going to go buy water and hand it out. Oh wait, if they volunteered time to hand it out, they wouldn’t be a poll worker during that time and it would be a misdemeanor.
So, you seem to be implying that everyone expects the GA legislature to appropriate money for additional poll workers and resources to provide water amenities at the already intentionally understaffed locations that are engineered to have long lines?

It’s your own “technicality”, not me having you on it. You were the one citing a supposed “fact check” disproving the reported technical content of the bill.

Looking now beyond just water:

Not Just 4-Pinocchios, Biden Masters Russian Propaganda Techniques

Thursday, April 1, 2021

President Biden has been repeatedly criticizing the new Georgia election law. He has called it “the Jim Crow of the 21st Century.” He, and media and press, has stated that people without an ID would not be able to vote. They have stated that “water cannot be given to a voter while waiting hours in line to vote.”

First, Jim Crow (segregation) has nothing to do with this voting law. Maybe he was reflecting on Columbia University’s recent graduation proposals.

Second, Voter IDs can be obtained for free in Georgia. Georgia will provide a Voter ID to anyone for free. They are valid for eight years. A Voter ID card can be issued at any Georgia Department of Driver Services office free of charge.

Third, water can be provided if given without party affiliation to entice a particular vote. We do not want to return to the days of handing out chickens and water to entice desired votes. This is pure fiction on the President’s part and that of the White House personnel.

An additional voter advantage in Georgia from this law is that there are added days to be able to vote. Early voting will run for 17 days before election day and counties can expand their early voting hours if they desire. Regular voting hours on election day are mandated to run from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. These hours have not been changed. Expanding the period in which to vote to a total of 18-days allows for greater access to voting, not less.

White House personnel, including Jen Psaki, would like everyone to think that election day voting ceases at 5 p.m., and this is not correct. The time is at 7 p.m., which they have avoided at all costs.

One only need wonder what Democrats would gain from the absence of voting laws that maintain the integrity of elections.

To assure everyone has one vote, maintaining voter integrity is paramount to a totally free society. Until we develop a fingerprint voter ID system that distinguishes one fingerprint voter from another, without naming the voter, we will have to have a voter ID system of some sort. New York State initially has an identification of the voter when completing a voter signature identification card. The signature is compared each time people vote. Individuals who point to such states as being without voter ID are being disingenuous in their statements.

We have been provided false information about the Southern Mexico/US border. The wall, President Biden stated, would be halted to save money. This was blatantly false, and he knew it. The wall that was left to be completed has already been paid for by the Executive Branch and continues to cost millions of dollars every month without any further work. If Biden was representing the people, he was better off allowing the wall to be built until this allocated money was depleted.

Getting 4-Pinocchios from the Washington Post is a shock, since this newspaper has been friendly to Democrats for four years. Even the Post can no longer condone the Biden Russian Propaganda train. Things appear to be getting worse.

Biden, straight up, is a filthy proven liar. In addition:

Compare Georgia’s new voting rules with those in Biden’s beloved home state of Delaware, which are absolutely DRACONIAN by comparison!!

Also compare the new Georgia voting rules with those in Colorado where, thanks to Biden, MLB moved its All Star game at a cost to Georgia voters, a third of them black, of over 100 million dollars.

The entire thing is made up from whole cloth. The new Georgia rules are very fair, and in fact much more equitable than those found in numerous other states, most of them blue!!

If you recall my earlier post on providing water. :relaxed: Stupidity, expecting help with water distribution. You liberal lefties want to charge that folks of color, cannot manage themselves. Pathetic!!

Management of ID, food & water. Don’t try to blame Republicans… (Shinobi says it much better than I)
