The 2020 USA POTUS election politics, the civil war, and the world war (Part 2)

It’s an absolutely SPLENDID point to make. Only a fool would believe otherwise. A country without borders is not a country at all. Period.

Nice try. I do not live in a small town, or in any town. The nearest is at least ten miles distant. Where I live the population density is vanishingly low. Bring illegals here and they will perish.

That wasnt his point, either. The point is there’s a difference between wanting them here and accepting them in your own backyard, and wanting them here but making others accept them so that you dont have them in your own backyard. Texas busing them off to sanctuary cities is the former, while those sanctuary cities turning around and busing them to Shinobi’s neighborhood would be the latter.

That wasnt his point, either.

Yeah… the point is that it seems incredibly problematic to have states acting overtly and directly in a way that they believe is damaging to other states or cities in those states that they disagree with. (i.e. they are acting with an intent to cause problems, directly)

Whether it is the specific issue in this case (busing migrants) is truly causing damage or not, isn’t really relevant – it is more about the general adversarial action between states, and that it is being celebrated by those that claim to supposedly love America, as being deeply disturbing and disheartening.

That would be problematic, if that were what was happening. Texas isnt accepting all these migrants then redistributing them across the nation, Texas wants to keep the migrants out in the first place. The problem is others are acting in a way that is damaging to Texas, so Texas is remedying the situation.

Texas isnt using these migrants as a metaphorical missile to attack other states they disagree with. Texas is acting in self defense, protecting themselves from the damage being caused by and imposed by others. If it wasnt damaging, then the recipients of those bused migrants should be welcoming the migrants and laughing at Texas wasting the money on busing them for no reason. If those recipients are complaining, it’s because they know it is damaging yet they want to take no responsibility and suffer no consequence for creating the situation.

Even if you consider it to be a national issue who’s burden should be born nationally (which I think is what you are getting at), that isnt happening - the people of some states are mandating it on other states on the front line, while they themselves remain relatively isolated from the issue. That is what’s increasingly problematic.

I think it’s more that Democrats claim to love diversity and think immigrants are positive contributors to society, so they should be happy to get all the benefits of this diversity delivered to their doorstep.

What do you mean there’s a difference between an educated H1-B programmer and an illiterate illegal Honduran or Haitian economic refugee in terms of their costs and contributions to society? My only question is how these so diverse people can even think to come to the irredeemably racist US in the first place when their home countries are so much more Diverse and therefore must be better in all ways.

You mean you can’t run the Democrats favorite welfare state with open borders when the world is a lot poorer than the living standard in the US? Nonsense, we just need to print more money, and get used to higher crime and lower living standards as we import more of the worlds poor. After Biden’s next executive action on illegal immigrant voting, maybe they’ll be able to do the job half of Americans refuse to do - vote Democrat.

I think it’s more that Democrats claim to love diversity and think immigrants are positive contributors to society, so they should be happy to get all the benefits of this diversity delivered to their doorstep.

I recognize that is their argument, but it is delivered in bad faith (or rather with facetiousness).

I think you keep thinking of it from the premise that they are already hear, so the issue is what to do with them. In which case, I’d agree with you in general.

But, that isnt the situation. The premise to start from is that they shouldnt be allowed in, and should be sent back to where they came from (until they can immigrate legally). Now let it play out from that starting point, and you’ll see there is in fact lots of bad faith - on the other side of the aisle. There’s nothing facetious about expecting those who insisted on creating the problem to at least participate in dealing with the consequences. What’s facetious is expecting to create the situation then be able to watch the fallout from a distance.

If we were neighbors, and I drove up with a van load of people, helped them pitch tents in your front yard, and told you that you were now responsible for them, would you really consider yourself to be acting in bad faith when you move those tents over to my yard and tell me to deal with them since I’m the only reason they’re there in the first place?

Crime and progressive policies, a legacy of failure.

Prosecutors’ decision effectively to nullify criminal laws passed by state legislatures has had a disastrous effect on violent crime in big cities. A recent study using a synthetic control algorithm attributes an extra 74 homicides per year to the de-prosecution policy in Philadelphia, where prosecutions have dropped by a staggering 70 percent for both felonies and misdemeanors. The same methodology estimated an additional 70 homicides per year in Baltimore and 169 more homicides per year in Chicago, two other cities with de-prosecuting prosecutors. Electing prosecutors not to enforce the law was as crazy as it sounded.

Seattle tested this theory in 2020, when it declared a section of the city a “police-free zone” after protests related to the death of George Floyd. A sophisticated analysis by professors Eric Piza and Nathan Connealy determined that the lack of police led not only to an increase in violent crime in the police-free zone—an unsurprising result—but also to a spillover effect of crime in surrounding areas of Seattle… A strong case can be made, in fact, that we are under-policed: the U.S. ranks in the bottom half of developed nations for the number of police officers per capita

As each of these policies meets its predictable demise, some might ask: What does work, then? The answers to that question have been demonstrated clearly and exhaustively: re-empower the police to protect law-abiding citizens. Arrest violent offenders, prosecute them vigorously, and incapacitate them with stiff sentences. And elect prosecutors who uphold and enforce the law, and who prioritize protecting law-abiding citizens, not violent criminals.

Common sense isn’t common among progressives, or they’re blinded by their racial identity politics.

The Soros funded Philadelphia DA Krasner recently won the Democrat primary and will probably will be reelected this year.

Above is a photo of Brian Auten. He works for the FBI leadership. If you do not know about him, you should. He was highly influential in Biden’s victory over Trump back in 2020. And his anti-Trump activity may well extend into the present.

There is too much Trump takedown activity at the top of the FBI for me to be able to detail it all. That article covers some of it. But the higher ups there are well aware of Schedule F. They know what will happen to them should Trump regain power.

If you thought Strzok, Page, and Thibault were the end, you were wrong. They are only the tip of the iceberg.

And, yes, Auten still works for the FBI in a high position, despite everything.

Black Lies Matter. After the head Marxist stole enough mansions and left, the next guy in charge helped himself to $10M+.

https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/3629589-black-lives-matter-exec-accused-of-stealing-10m-in-lawsuit/

“Through a series of misrepresentations and unauthorized backroom dealings, Mr. Bowers managed to steal control over GNF as the sole Board member and officer.”

BLM Global Network Foundation paid the Bowers Consulting Firm $2,167,894 in 2021, according to federal tax filings.

At the rate these BLM execs are buying up mansions, I think we need an update on those redlining grievances.

Labor Day Miracle!

Trump-appointed judge grants Trump’s (albeit very belated) request for a special master.

The mainstream media is NOT going to like this.

I wonder if Judge Cannon’s decision will be appealed by Garland; is the decision even subject to appeal?

Mar-a-Lago seizures were far reaching and OUTRAGEOUS!!

They got what they really went after:

Medical records, tax records, lawyer-client documents, and so much more . . . . all set now conveniently to be leaked to the New York Times during critical junctures of the 2024 POTUS campaign. Such leaks by the deep state, against Trump, are FAR from unprecedented. In fact, they were commonplace in the past.

National security? No, what concerns the deep state scoundrels is the security of their own jobs should Trump once again become POTUS. And their concerns are 100% justified. So they are at war with Trump now in order proactively to save their own skins.

Judge Aileen M. Cannon reveals FBI seized medical docs and correspondence related to Trump’s taxes and accounting information

A federal judge revealed Monday that former President Trump’s medical records and documents related to his accounting information and taxes were seized during the FBI’s raid of his Mar-a-Lago home.

Congressional Democrats have been seeking Trump’s tax returns since 2019. Last month, a federal appeals court paved the way for the House Ways and Means Committee to finally obtain Trump’s tax returns from the Internal Revenue Service, under a law that permits the disclosure of an individual’s tax returns to the congressional committee.

Trump may seek emergency intervention measures from the Supreme Court in an attempt to temporarily block any release of those tax records to the committee.

This entire debacle was nothing short of a massive home invasion under color of “national security”. But with the American mainstream media running cover for the Democrat perpetrators, they just might get away with it.

Pretty good summary.

”Folks, I’m using the feds as best I can to destroy my political opponents, but let me be clear: I’m going to have to break more laws and seize even more power if I’m going to stop fascism," yelled President Biden, lighted in blood-red and surrounded by soldiers.

We will forcibly commandeer every lever of power and communication our nation has - to, you know, defeat fascism."

I thought The Bee was supposed to be made up ridiculous stories? This was pretty spot-on paraphrasing of reality.

Did Democrats plant this article? So that when people call them out over such things, they can reply “You’re just quoting the Babylon Bee and it’s well-know fake made-up articles, you moron!” rather than have to try to explain themselves…

Interesting history lesson on Reagan’s stance on limited government and how insufficiently strict regulations / interpretations of the Civil Rights Act has allowed subsequent Democrats like Obama and Biden to mandate affirmative action in schools, contractors, etc, and likewise impose their views on sexual relations at colleges without regard to due process.

The rules and guidelines created under civil rights law are given effect through the practically mandatory creation of new bureaucracies. As with the area of college athletics, we see an emphasis placed on social engineering and correcting supposedly problematic behavior and thought in the dating lives of individuals.

Unfortunately, four years after that decision, Congress overruled the Supreme Court when it passed the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1988. This statute clarified that Title VI and Title IX meant that any institution receiving federal money must comply with civil rights law in all areas of operation. The bill had nearly unanimous supportamong Democrats in the House (242-4), with only a slight majority of Republicans voting against it (73-94). Senate Republicans were even worse… In the end, Congress had the votes to overrule the veto. Title IX enforcement would not only go back to what it was but ramp up and become ever more intrusive, as the mainstream Left turned more radical in its ideas about gender, which it would force onto higher education and even local school districts. Had Republicans united to uphold Reagan’s veto, as they would be united on major civil rights legislation in later decades,

It’s too much to ask politicians to repeal the Civil Rights Act. But conservatives can work to exhort at least two promises from their politicians: trying to repeal the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1988, and support for amending Executive Order 11246 to prohibit affirmative action in government contracting instead of requiring it. Instead of burying Reagan, the establishment and the New Right should come together under the banner of continuing his legacy.

This article is mostly irrelevant (although interesting), but there’s one quote that stuck out to me.

“There are people who are convinced that this country is filled with lunatic Christian fundamentalists and good old boys from the South, and [that] that’s what we’re going to become.

This highlights a fundamental difference in our ever-growing divide. Those good old boys from the south just want to be good old boys from the south, and couldnt give two craps about what liberals want to do in liberal states as long as they keep it in their liberal states. It’s the liberals who are hellbent on forcing what they want “us” to become onto everyone, sticking their noses in everyone else’s business and deciding what’s ok for everyone else to think and do. Contrary to popular narratives, the good old southern boys have no desire to turn everyone into good old southern boys, they just [naturally] object to the liberals’ desire - and ever more substantial attempts - to purge them from society.

I have learned the answer to this:

Yes, Judge Cannon’s decision most assuredly may be appealed to the Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, which is described as follows:

The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit is a federal court with appellate jurisdiction over the following U.S. district courts: • Middle District of Alabama • Northern District of Alabama • Southern District of Alabama • Middle District of Florida • Northern District of Florida • Southern District of Florida • Middle District of Georgia • Northern District of Georgia • Southern District of Georgia.

I wrote about this circumstance earlier. Above we find the PURE GENIUS of Trump having gotten the HELL out of New York City, where his situation would be hopeless. It is also extremely gratifying that this matter will not be before the courts serving Washington, DC, where we would have no chance whatsoever.

So will Garland appeal? It’s a tough roe to hoe for the little pipsqueak having to argue before real Americans in the 11th Circuit Court. His woke, liberal BS is much less likely to win the day there. And he probably is well aware of that fact!!

Life in Joe Biden’s America

I’m well aware of the disinclination of many participants here to click . . . on anything. I hope you will make an exception for the above.

This amazing and chilling doorbell camera video and audio (be absolutely certain to turn on the sound) exemplifies what too many parts of our country have come to beneath Democrat aegis.

I’m heartbroken about this on its face, and even more so because so many Americans voted for this, quite possibly including the victim depicted.
