It’s sick that sitting members of Congress would find it so prudent to honor those who protected them personally one day, while ignoring, denouncing, and villifying the hundreds of thousands of officers who protect ‘the common folk’ every day.
Have you not left your house in the past 2 months. There isn’t a single employer out there right now that would fire a reliable employee that had to miss 2 days if they felt ill after being vaccinated. This has to be the most BS excuse I’ve ever heard for not getting vaxed. You are out of your mind if you think anyone here believes it.
The people with the least access to tech, seniors, are all vaccinated (the ones that want to), so this is a BS reason for why many blacks aren’t vaxed as well.
I haven’t read that on this thread. If you read that, you read race into something that wasn’t about race.
Every time my nephew goes camping, I tell him to not get eaten by a bear, and to make sure he’s never the slowest person in the group…
Should I, or do you want to write the “Glitch wanted to sacrifice child campers to the wildlife” headline that proves I’m a terrible, horrible person too?
Looks like it’s time to put Rachel “Russia Russia Russia!” Maddow in the same enviable camp as Tucker Carlson for having successfully defended against a defamation suit by claiming her show is all lies and no one should take her seriously. I mean, I wouldn’t have made that mistake, but given she overtook Tucker earlier this year for viewership, I’m sure plenty of people do.
In an oddly overlooked ruling, an Obama-appointed federal judge, Cynthia Bashant, dismissed the lawsuit on the ground that even Maddow’s own audience understands that her show consists of exaggeration, hyperbole, and pure opinion, and therefore would not assume that such outlandish accusations are factually true
But whatever else is true, those who want to claim that this court ruling proves Carlson is a lying propagandist who cannot be trusted have no way out of applying the same claim to Maddow.
All these “revelations” about Trump sound like a tabloid version of the Mueller report. -
Trump wanted his people to do things to help him and he had no idea what was legal or illegal. But they didn’t actually do it for him. He just talked about it.
That’s because the people that Trump surrounded himself with were competent, they told him when his requests were illegal, and they didn’t do them. We all knew Trump’s character going into his presidency. Is anyone surprised he spouted off to his staff asking them to do things when he had no understanding of the legality? Part of good leadership is surrounding yourself with people that know when to let you go off a little when angry, but not follow through with your decisions made in anger. If I hated Trump as much as most folks on the left, I’d be pissed his people saved him from getting into dozens of these potential scandals.
I havent watched lately (say, in the past 10 years), but I recall her overemphasizing her points as if they were so obvious it’s unbelievable anyone wouldnt agree.
How many times did he even actually ask it be done? Most reports seem to be more about spitballing out-of-the-box (yes, sometimes way out of the box) thoughts, not any sort of demand or expectation that it ever happen.
I’m having trouble remembering the part of Trump’s speech where he told people to arm themselves and then break into the Capitol. I’m also having trouble remembering how many thousands of people were arrested for violating DC’s ban on carrying firearms. Could you refresh my memory?
You mean, how can this be worse than the weekly shootings in Detroit, Chicago, and other cities? The answer is that it isn’t worse, but then again you already know that. Same as you already know I wasn’t making any comparison to shootings. Often times you write like a troll.
As usual, President Trump’s policies are effective and have majority support. But to the leftists, this just proves that CRT is right and the USA is a racis’ country.
Voters say Biden should have left in place the Trump administration’s immigration policies. Fifty-five percent of voters said the previous administration’s policies should have been kept, while 45 percent say they should have been undone.
Overall, 67 percent of voters say that people who cross the southern border illegally should be sent back to Mexico, while a third say they should be released into the U.S. with a court date.
