Maybe not 100%, I know there are (a few) people with beds that elevate. But rails, a corded bedside phone, and tray-style table make it pretty clear.
An interesting media study in wake of the horrible stabbing murder of Sir David Amess, MP, in a Christian church in the UK earlier today. Sir David was a Conservative:
The liberal media stories are careful not to identify Sir David’s assailant, a Muslim immigrant from Somalia. If you want that information you must look elsewhere, to sources not liberal so not politically correct.
Nothing new here. Just one more example of the extraordinary liberal media bias which surrounds us.
With so many normal hetero couples wanting to adopt why put two babies with these two? Children need role models of both sexes.
Now, you’ve done it ![]()
The press does now admit they’re treating the UK assassination as a terror attack. Norway had a recent bizarre bow and arrow killing of nearly half a dozen people…

Merit Garland vested interest in war on CRT opponents revealed
Garland is a skunk. But this information is 100% unavailable from the very liberal American mainstream media.
This is from Forbes, which is not exactly Conservative media:
Last week, AG Garland sent a memo to the head of the FBI, directing him to work with local law enforcement “to address threats against school administrators, board members, teachers and staff.”
Critics say that Garland made the move in response to parents vocally opposing mask mandates and race-related teaching implemented by local school boards.
Nevertheless, the move by Garland to have the FBI investigate parents at school board meetings quickly put his son-in-law’s nationwide education business in the spotlight.
Garland’s son-in-law is Xan Tanner, co-founder, board member, and president (2012-2020) of Panorama Education. Panorama Education sells surveys to school districts across the country that focus on the local “social and emotion climate.” These surveys are then used as justification for new curriculum from other providers that some parents call critical race theory and find objectionable.
Tanner’s company has a large footprint with contracts in 50+ of the nation’s 100 largest school districts. The company describes its business as supporting “13 million students in 23,000 schools and 1,500 districts across 50 states.”
In 2017, Panorama raised $16 million in a private funding led by Emerson Collective, with participation from Spark Capital, Owl Ventures, SoftTechVC, and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative — owned by Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and his wife Priscilla Chan.
The capital raised, along with the changing political landscape, likely helped Panorama grow from 400 school systems in 2017 to 1,500 systems today – a nearly four-fold increase in business.
Then, just last month – weeks before the Garland directive to the FBI – Panorama closed on a $60 million private financing raise with venture capital firm General Atlantic. According to the press release, existing investors Owl Ventures, Emerson Collective, Uncork Capital, CZI, and Tao Capital Partners also participated.
In the OpenTheBooks government expenditure library posted online, there are at least $27 million in payments to Panorama from states, school districts, and local boards of education across 21 states between the years 2017 and 2020.
Contracts with the New York City Department of Education; Dallas Independent School District; Seattle Public Schools; District of Columbia; and the San Francisco Unified School District are showcased in company materials, and are known.
This highly revealing Forbes piece continues here:
In addition:
The NY Post has now picked up this story:
AG Garland’s son-in-law’s education company supports critical race theory
At the bottom line:
We now see why Garland takes such an active interest in attacking parents who oppose CRT . . . including even using the FBI to confront and intimidate them. It comes down to $$$$ in the pockets of his family members!!
Personal concession:
I have not always been a supporter of Senator Mitch McConnell. But credit where due. Absent McConnell’s strong stand a few years back, this Garland dirtball could today have a lifetime appointment to our SCOTUS!!
Thank you, Mitch. You did good!!
(On my oath, I’m not making this up. He actually said it!)
Biden to young child: “I like kids better than people”
Find link to story below. In addition, this story contains the following:
In 2017 and 2018, Biden and first lady Jill Biden routed $13 million in book and speech income through “S corporations” to reduce their Medicare taxes by up to $500,000 by dubiously lowballing the share of that income produced by their own labor.
Biden earned nearly $1 million from the University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2019 for serving as an honorary professor at the Ivy League school. He made just nine known appearances, including a November 2017 event promoting his book “Promise Me, Dad.”
So of course he wants college loans discharged, rather than criticize the schools for charging so much in the first place…
Biden does the right thing so
His immigration activist supporters walk out
They are really pissed off at Biden. They want American taxpayers like you and me to support illegal peasants who arrive from all over the Western Hemisphere. After all, it doesn’t cost them anything! And they believe we work for them. Charity begins at home. And we have plenty of less fortunate American citizens who need our help. We cannot, and we should not, be expected to support the entire hemisphere.
Politico: “We’re done”: Immigration advocates stage walk-out on Biden administration
F these despicable activists. Who let them come here in the first place! It was a mistake, I can tell you that!
Greenwald on the Democratic 1/6 Coup, which is still ongoing.
Even before Joe Biden was inaugurated, his senior advisers made clear that one of their top priorities was to enact a bill from Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) — now a member of the Select Committee on 1/6 — to import the first War on Terror onto domestic soil. Even without enactment of a new law, there is no doubt that a second War on Terror, this one domestic, has begun and is growing, all in the name of the 1/6 “Insurrection” and with little dissent or even public debate.
What makes this ongoing prohibition of dissent or even doubt so remarkable is that so many of the responses to 1/6 are precisely the legal and judicial policies that liberals have spent decades denouncing. Indeed, many of the defining post-1/6 policies are identical to those now retrospectively viewed as abusive and excessive, if not unconstitutional, when invoked as part of the first War on Terror.
Almost immediately after the Capitol riot, some of the most influential Democratic lawmakers — Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Homeland Security Committee Chair Bennie Thompson (D-MS), who also now chairs the Select 1/6 Committee — demanded that any participants in the protest be placed on the no-fly list , long regarded as one of the most extreme civil liberties assaults from the first War on Terror. And at least some of the 1/6 protesters have been placed on that list: American citizens, convicted of no crime , prohibited from boarding commercial airplanes based on a vague and unproven assessment, from unseen and unaccountable security state bureaucrats
Some of the pre-trial prison protocols have been so punitive that even Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) — who calls the 1/6 protesters "domestic terrorists” — denouncedtheir treatment as abusive: “Solitary confinement is a form of punishment that is cruel and psychologically damaging,” Warren said, adding: “And we’re talking about people who haven’t been convicted of anything yet.”
Many of the 1/6 defendants are impoverished and cannot afford lawyers, yet private-sector law firms who have active pro bono programs will not touch anyone or anything having to do with 1/6, while the ACLU is now little more than an arm of the Democratic Party and thus displays almost no interest in these systemic civil liberties assaults. And for many liberals — the ones who are barely able to contain their glee at watching people lose their jobs in the middle of a pandemic due to vaccine-hesitancy or who do not hide their joy that the unarmed Ashli Babbitt got what she deserved — their political adversaries these days are not just political adversaries but criminals and even terrorists, rendering no punishment too harsh or severe. For them, cruelty is not just acceptable; the cruelty is the point .
“Let’s go Brandon” confuses many liberals because they avoid Conservative media (the truth makes them uncomfortable). Hence they have no clue what it really means.
Regardless, “Let’s go Brandon” has taken off like wildfire. There are now even several songs with that theme.
Democrats freak out over Manchin’s common sense demands
Most Americans are solidly with Manchin on this matter. But the Democrat Marxists are not at all in tune with real Americans . . . who are not Marxist wannabes.
The Hill: Manchin lays down common sense demands for child tax credit
When you are pushing a Marxist agenda, common sense flies out the window!!

Axios reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter, that Manchin informed the White House that the child tax credit must have an “established work” requirement and a family income limit in the $60,000 range if Democrats want his vote for the package.
He told reporters late last month “I want work requirements for everything. Means testing and work requirements.”
Oops! Should have tested the link.

The Canadian government banned it for their employees. Apparently they don’t like their staff rooting for Brandon in their email signatures…
https://twitter.com/peteremcc/status/1449846302955556865?s=21
How many Canadian employees named Brandon are going to constantly be left behind, because no one is allowed to tell him it’s time to go?
Wrong skin color to get off for a misdemeanor disorderly conduct when someone at the school board meeting told the dad his daughter deserved to be raped. The DA is going for jail time… against the dad.
…but unlike the gender confused teenager who’s accused of forcible sodomy. No jail for him, he was just sent to another school where he promptly sexually assaulted some other girl.
Justice is getting hard to find in liberal jurisdictions.

This post crosses over between Finance and Off Topic so better to post it here and avoid offending the Finance folks:
NYC stooges have voted to remove a statue of our third President from display in their Council chamber. Frankly real Americans should demand this removal as those idiots do not deserve to be in the presence even of the statue of so great a man and one of our most important founding fathers.
Their basis for this removal is, of course, not their own inadequacy. They claim a right to hold Jefferson, who was born in 1743, to 2021 ways of looking at the world. I say the reality is different. Their real beef with Jefferson, and the other founding fathers, is that there is not a Marxist in the lot. And when you’re pushing cultural revolution, it’s important first to sweep away past champions of freedom and liberty . . . . . . . like Jefferson for example. So OUT with his statue!
Which brings us to the finance portion of this post. Because what’s happening in NYC is hardly a unique, isolated, event. Jefferson, and his crowd, are educing hate in many American venues today. If the Democrats win in 2024 there is an excellent chance our current $2 bill will go the way of the twenty. So:
It’s time to stock up on $2 bills while they still can be had for a measly two bucks!! You heard it here first. With Jefferson in the cross hairs, whether in 2024 or later, how much longer can the current two spot survive? Take a couple hundred dollars and invest now, while you still can. Even if I’m wrong, you will always be able to spend the currency you purchase. But I’m seldom wrong!
This Loudoun County debacle is too deep to sum up with even a 15,000 word think piece - and of course still very much unfolding. I’m thinking someone like Molly Hemingway will be writing a book about it in the near future.
