Senators Tester and Manchin will oppose Biden today in Senate mandate vote

Both of those guys are Democrats. I dunno how Sinema will vote. Biden could also lose other Democrat votes on this mandate thing. All Republicans will vote against Biden.

The measure will then go to the House where Pelosi will not schedule a vote. However, there is a good chance for a discharge petition and Biden would then likely also lose in the House. At that point:

Biden will simply veto the measure. There are not enough votes in Congress to override his veto.

However at the bottom line we will have, on full display here, one more example of Joe Biden governing against the will of a majority of the American people. This is not Red China. However you may rely on the state-controlled American mainstream media to provide Biden all the cover he needs.

Sexual harassment of women is a very serious matter, but . .

It really is. Nobody should seek to minimize or discount sexual harassment. It can traumatize and harm a woman in unseen ways; it is a serious wrong, never to be treated lightly. But . . .

Is sexual harassment more serious even than death? Offered the two horrid choices and no other options, would a woman not choose sexual harassment over death?

Which brings us to the Cuomo matter and the warped and distorted views and priorities of the American mainstream media. For our media filth, Cuomo’s sexual harassment episodes were paramount. The fact Cuomo’s failures resulted in death for thousands of NY senior citizens was, for the media, far less worthy of notice or emphasis.

The liberal American mainstream media is truly FUBAR.

I’ll disagree with this. We elect people to do as they feel is best, not to just merely do what the most people want. I often disagree with him about what is best, but I do not expect any elected leader to just blindly do what I want them to do. That’s not how it is supposed to work - the difference between us and Red China is that we regularly get to elect the people calling the shots, not that the people calling the shots pander to the electorate. Pandering for votes is what’s dug the deep hole we’re in now in the first place.

Setting records across the country ever since the veneration of Saint Floyd.

Not sure how they picked the cities for their list, but I’m told (and haven’t checked) the mayors are all members of the Free The Criminals Party.

This is a new one:

I guess I didn’t realize the speaker of the house didn’t need to be a member of the house of representatives. Makes the whole line of succession thing even more interesting.

Money well spent, I see.

. . . . “shiny shiny truck” . . .

Reference there is obviously to the well known Judge Judy line, which she delivers so well. However:

Judge Judy used that line to illustrate efforts to divert attention away from important stuff by spotlighting instead attention grabbing drivel having no lasting impact. In particular:

As illegals and drugs flood across our southern border, inflation skyrockets, and national bankruptcy deepens, our sick and overrated media whores focus instead on some woman named Maxwell and on the latest celebrity follies.

A key reason for the media’s diversionary efforts, of course, is their ardent backing of the politicians who are fostering and supporting all the negative events in the first place. Rather than focus on important, material, impactful news, the American mainstream media feeds us a never ending sequence of shiny trucks. These are served up by mostly young know-nothing “journalists” who would be hard pressed to find real, productive work. What a sack of crap!

The facebook conspiracy theorists have been saying for years that this story would be swept under the rug. It’s a little deeper than “celebrity follies”. Depending on who you believe and how much is true, it could be as big of a [legitimate] story as any of the other stuff you mention.

Nah, the big tech guys don’t want you following that. Or Pelosi’s well timed stock trading either.

Meanwhile, maybe she gets off and all the pictures disappear…

Just another racist who will probably get off with community service for his crimes.

Dr. Jill Biden uses her medical credentials to remind everyone Biden definitely isn’t losing his mind.

Meanwhile, her husband does his best to convince everyone otherwise by concluding his memorial speech for Bob Dole by reading his teleprompter instructions “end of message”. He’s been doing that a lot lately.

Flashback: Biden, Harris other Democrats led frenzy to amplify Jussie Smollett’s false hate crime claims

What happened today to@JussieSmollett must never be tolerated in this country," President Joe Biden, tweeted in January of 2019 when he was mulling a presidential run, "We must stand up and demand that we no longer give this hate safe harbor; that homophobia and racism have no place on our streets or in our hearts. We are with you Jussie.

Vice-President Kamala Harris also believed Smollet’s story and posted about it on Twitter calling the alleged attack an attempted “modern day lynching.”

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, a Democrat who ran for president, also referred to the alleged attack as an attempted “modern day lynching.”

“The vicious attack on actor Jussie Smollett was an attempted modern-day lynching. I’m glad he’s safe,” Booker tweeted. “To those in Congress who don’t feel the urgency to pass our Anti-Lynching bill designating lynching as a federal hate crime– I urge you to pay attention.”

While University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, who spent three years at the Ivy League school swimming as a male, has been busy smashing female pool records, friction has been building within the team, according to a Penn female swimmer who said she feared for her ability to find employment after graduating from college for sharing her honest opinion about a transgender teammate.

“When the whole team is together, we have to be like, ‘Oh my gosh, go Lia, that’s great, you’re amazing.’ It’s very fake,” she added.

“When I have kids, I kinda hope they’re all boys because if I have any girls that want to play sports in college, good luck. [Their opponents] are all going to be biological men saying that they’re women,” Thomas’ teammate told OutKick. “Right now we have one, but what if we had three on the team? There’d be three less girls competing.”

To the teammate about her future kids, I guess the proper response is suppose to be that she should be proud that her future boys will also be able to compete as women?

I wonder if the left claims that Lia can have children? They probably think that if Lia believes it enough it must be true.

Non-citizens granted voting rights in New York City

800,000 individuals will be added to the voting rolls. Read the details here:

Non-citizens obtain NYC voting rights

Rely on this being downplayed and minimized by the American mainstream media, if it is reported at all.

As approved, it only effects NYC elections. And on some level, it’s fair for those in NYC to get to decide who can vote in NYC, they can decide who they deem to be voting residents. There will be lots of objections and challenges, and it might not stand, but it’s really no different than parents deciding to give the kids equal say in deciding where the family vacations. NYC digs it’s hole, and has to live with the hole it digs.

The potential issue for us to be concerned with is cross-contamination, where said illegals voting in the local election also “inadvertantly” cast votes in Federal elections.
