Who will join POTUS nominee Biden on the Democrat ticket as VP?

I said it before and I’ll say it again, F*CK the early primary states. It’s not right that one or two unrepresentative tiny states unduly influence the outcome. While I am concerned about whatever the heck is going on there, I’d be happy if the results stayed secret until at least Super Tuesday.

And, as I also said before, GO PETE!!!

I may not be representative of all voters, but I’ll give you my reasons:

  • I didn’t follow politics as closely in the past and I had not heard of him until he was picked for VP. I couldn’t figure out then and still don’t know WHY he was picked.
  • He is too old! Not because of the number, but because of how he speaks – I can see that he sometimes has difficulties forming sentences. Trump also has a problem with speaking, but it’s not because of age, it’s because he has a poor vocabulary, does not have in-depth knowledge about anything, and is a pathological liar and exaggerator.
  • I don’t believe he could stand against Trump in the debates. He’s too polite and wouldn’t be able to refute the shitstorm of lies and half-truths from the president.
  • He’s just not as good as the other candidates. Bernie is nothing but consistent. Warren has a plan for everything and gave us the CFPB, which, at least until their funding was cut by Trump’s appointee, anybody on this forum could truly appreciate. Pete is hella smart, eloquent, a veteran, and doesn’t attack his opponents unless attacked first, and he’s more moderate and realistic than Bernie and Warren. He would shred Trump in a one-on-one debate, and he’d look good doing it. I get a weird vibe from Klobuchar. Yang is a smart guy and I’m sure he’ll end up with some important appointment, but he based his campaign on a single promise of UBI which he plans to fund in part with a federal VAT, which IMO is ridiculous – the point of UBI is to improve redistribution of wealth and reduce poverty, while VAT is regressive and disproportionately affects the poor, the opposite of what’s needed. But I prefer all of them to Biden.
