Who will join POTUS nominee Biden on the Democrat ticket as VP?

I don’t say this often, but it sounds like the state of CA is doing something right. WA state could make their polling much more efficient if it only sent democratic ballots to registered democrats and republican ballots to registered republicans. The current polling method does leave a lot more room for potential issues.

Lest we forget, Biden and Bernie will be debating tomorrow, Sunday, on CNN . . . just not in Arizona as originally planned.

The Ides of March debate will kick off at 8:00 pm ET in Washington, DC. There will be no studio audience.

I think the debate will finish in time for old Joe to be back home in nearby Delaware only slightly past his customary bedtime.

I’m tempted to watch it just to see what comes out of his mouth instead of Caronavirus.

Looks like Biden is courting the deadbeat student vote.

It’s her turn.

Yes, but does it include free shoulder rubs? We all know how stressful the job can be.

OK, so Biden’s VP will be a woman of color.

Stacey
Kamala
Tulsi (no, probably not Tulsi  )

Fauxcahontas?!!

Have I forgotten any prominent Democrat women of color?

Michelle Obama?

“definitely not”

Hillary? Husband was the first black president … at least that’s what he claimed.

And apparently Biden is giving out free college too now, although that’s weird when the main beneficiaries can’t vote for you yet (although I guess without IDs to vote, who knows?)

Very odd to my mind that Biden’s centrist approach won him the clear de facto nominee position and now he may compromise that appeal with a shift towards more left leaning policies. Who else were the “free stuff” deadbeats going to vote for besides him after he finishes off Sanders?

I think the concern on the Democrat side is that they might remain at home and not vote at all. This as an outcome of their displeasure with a Bernie loss, if that is what happens.

That’s the problem, they wouldnt vote at all.

Is this their participation trophy?

Big day today. Democrat primary elections in Florida, Illinois, and Arizona. These are important states.

If Bernie is shut out again will he retire from the race?

Will coronavirus work against Biden by keeping his older voters in their homes and away from the polls . . . while enthusiastic younger Bernie Bros flock to the polls coronavirus notwithstanding?

Is Hillary really Biden’s first choice for VP? She wants it. We all know she wants it badly, possibly her only remaining path to the big chair . . . once Biden passes in the wake of his third brain aneurysm. Yeah, his next would be #3. You can look it up. Guy probably took some nasty hits when playing QB in college. Way back then the rules and protective equipment were not at today’s standards; not even close.

ILLINOIS UPDATE

News out of the windy city says there are staffing problems at the polls. Voters being urged to telephone ahead before going to their local polling places.

There are also complaints about lack of hand sanitizer at the polling places.

Or a magical air crash, or a suicide on a park bench, suicide by wrist slitting, suicide by shot to the back of the head, etc.

I’d take the under if the line was 12 months.

I keep marveling at people’s stupidity. There’s no reason to leave your house to vote. I’ve been voting by mail for I can’t even remember how long. I imagine the option is available in every state except those with stupid and antiquated caucuses.

Looks like some of those primaries may get canceled due to virus fears.

I thought voting by mail typically required requesting a ballot in advance? And not that they couldnt have, but it’s a little too late to do so now.

Besides, the same argument could be made the other way - it’s stupid to vote when you dont know which choices will still be in the race when the votes are finally counted.

SC does not have stupid or smart, antiquated or modern, caucuses (glad I could copy your spelling on that one). Yet, you can’t vote absentee without a valid reason (out of county on election day) … Or committing purgery.

Mr. Perez, DNC chairman, in reaction to the coronavirus pandemic, is calling for all future Democrat primary election votes to be done by mail:
