Announcement this morning that pipsqueak AG Garland has denied appointment of Special Master to review items seized from Mar-a-Lago in order to ensure protection against otherwise likely attorney-client privilege violations.
AG Garland has God complex and wants it all . . . attorney-client privilege be damned.
Thatâs my point. If youâve done nothing wrong, thereâs nothing for an audit to find. There is no âburdonâ, you just need to provide them with the basis for the numbers you listed - which you should already have from when you prepared the return in the first place.
Have you ever been audited, or known a close family member who was audited and open enough with you to share how burdensome the experience actually is, even if youâve never done anything wrong?
It is definitely a huge burden, hassle, and stressor for honest people that did their taxes correctly but had some element that flagged an algorithm⌠and then, they automatically go back and audit for every year that they are allowed to, not just the year with the algorithm issue.
Iâm posting this out of surprise. My California relatives, (not all that many) years ago, used to vacation on the peninsula and loved it there. It really is, or at least it was, a beautiful and serene place in this world.
The tie-in of this to the present thread is the Mexican cartels and their Biden nexus. Bidenâs open borders policy has manifestly strengthened and enriched the cartels beyond all prior reckoning. They have become ever more powerful and wealthy, and increased in size and reach, thanks to Biden. The harm they do us with drugs is incalculable. And we are literally swamped with illegals. All that thanks to Biden.
But until now I did not envision the cartels having interest in the Baja, which I wrongly perceived as a safe haven. Bidenâs border policy is doing harm to Mexico, and it is a catastrophe for America:
The Baja cartel situation has to do with the Mexican government arresting cartel members. The cartel wants then released. I canât imagine Biden being responsible for criminals becoming so powerful in Mexico they can now tell AMLO who can or canât be arrested for their crimes.
I certainly can. His policies have increased their power and reach immensely over what it was when Trump was POTUS.
You need to read up. The cartels have completely overrun the police already. It is now necessary to send in soldiers in an effort to bring them to heel. Whether or not that will be successful remains to be seen. I have my doubts.
The extra power was given by AMLO himself with his ridiculous âhugs not bulletsâ ideology. Back in 2019, when Trump was POTUS and seemed headed for a 2nd term, a cartel sieged a town to demand the released of El Chapoâs son. AMLO was happy to obliged.
Mexico, just like several other developing countries, is corrupt and a narco-state, and has been for ages.

While Biden seeks to enlarge the IRS by 87,000 souls, no increase whatsoever has been sought for ICE, which Democrats detest. As a result virtually all existing ICE personnel on the border are playing nursemaid to the thousands of illegals who are encouraged to cross every day with Bidenâs enthusiastic support. This has left very few ICE agents to interdict the drugs flowing like Niagara Falls into our country. And all those drugs, together with all those illegals, spell big PROFIT for the cartels, thereby elevating their power and reach.
Trump, had he been reelected, would have completed closure of the border. Biden has sought to do the opposite.
Finally, as a related aside: like polio?
Evidence of Mexican polio has been detected in NY sewage. A disease supposedly eradicated from our country years ago has made its return, thanks to Biden. Not that he cares, of course.
We are a nation of immigrants. Years ago that meant legal immigrants . . . not just anyone who walked in. Would-be Americans were tested for disease and screened for criminality, among other things. Some were denied entry, and quite rightly so, to protect people already in our country.
Today anyone from anywhere can simply walk in and remain. Many people do that and are never even interdicted by ICE. They just walk in and disappear. You obviously support Bidenâs border policies.

âGotawaysâ is a commonly used term for illegal immigrants who have been spotted crossing the border by agents or on camera but were not caught or processed by officials.
Even conceding the majority of these illegals present no imminent threat to American citizens, there are so many that literally thousands of very dangerous individuals are now here thanks to Bidenâs âdonât careâ policy.
And for certain not all the gotaways are from Central and South America. They are from all over the world, and they could harbor disease or malicious intent from anywhere on earth.
Do NOT assume that all illegals have been processed by ICE. That is flat out WRONG!
In my opinion, the fact that so many educators are confused by this law only validates the need for this lawâŚ

Again, validating the need for such a law. And if you really are just offended by the implication that your judgement isnt being blindly trusted, then blame your idiot peers who, much like unrulely teens at malls and amusement parks prompting chaperone policies, have neccessitated such oversight be implimented.

The only real-world consequences are going to be the AP being called out for feeding the baseless propaganda machine with targeted hit pieces and trying to pass it off as news. I dunno. It is just my observation based on the support being offered by Catholic Charities, in conjunction with the Biden administration, for these millions of illegals. After all, they cannot eat those free cell phones each one receives at taxpayer expense.
