The 2024 election politics

Trouble for the Commander in Chief. You see Iran’s at war with us, be we’re at peace with Iran so they can keep exporting cheap oil and using the proceeds to fund terrorism across the Middle East. They killed several US troops and wounded dozens with a drone attack in Jordan.

https://www.reuters.com/world/political-pressure-builds-biden-strike-iran-after-us-deaths-2024-01-29/

  • BIDEN FACED MOUNTING POLITICAL PRESSURE TO RETALIATE AGAINST IRAN FOR A DEADLY DRONE STRIKE ON US TROOPS, POSING A MAJOR CHALLENGE FOR THE DEMOCRAT IN AN ELECTION YEAR
  • US DEFENSE DEPARTMENT SPOKESMAN KIRBY: WE ARE NOT SEEKING TO ESCALATE OR LOOKING FOR WAR WITH IRAN.

So much for leadership. Blow up one of their oil export terminals for every drone attack and they’d stop pretty quickly as their limited funds would be needed domestically. But Bidenomics can’t stand more inflation so we leave our soldiers there to die for nothing.

The context was deleted, but from what I gathered the research was about all immigrants, not illegals.

Did you read the article you linked?

That sounds like a response. And probably appropriate, given that they may not have any details yet and shouldn’t divulge them anyway. These are not direct attacks, they’re by “Iran-backed forces.” We’ve been striking and killing Iran-backed forces in Yemen.

The fun begins for this November. The article states that the lawsuit was brought by a left-leaning group, possibly Stacey Adams Abrams. Nevertheless the left and their media insist that the elections are super safe. Unless Trump wins of course.

On January 18, a Georgia court witnessed a demonstration by a voting systems expert. The expert, J. Alex Halderman, who is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, showed how Dominion Voting Systems machines can be hacked effortlessly. Using a Bic pen and a smart card, he was able to copy, edit, and alter votes within seconds. This demonstration took place in front of U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg in Atlanta, as reported by Law360 Pulse.

The HUGE and obvious difference between these cases is that Trump boasted about having documents in public but lying and obstructing the investigators. IIRC, Biden just said he forgot about having them and gave them up right away.

The better comparison in this case would be what Trump’s AG did about the Muller report – there’s a damning report, but no charges (assuming there are no charges, which is unknown now).

Democratic policies seem not to be playing to the “minorities” they claim to represent, losing their traditional levels of support.

Gains among college indoctrinated adults unlikely to compensate.

More details are out now. The similarities are significant, except of course that Biden is let off the hook by the media and the DOJ.

We’ve got lying

recording of Biden confiding in his ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer in April 2017, three months after leaving the vice presidency, that he still had official records because “I didn’t want to turn them in” — sounding similar to former President Donald Trump, who faces 40 criminal charges and up to 450 years in prison for resisting handing over documents after leaving the White House in 2021.

Obstruction

deleted some audio files of Biden after the special counsel investigation began — and was aware of the probe when he did so.

Putting our National Security and military at risk

Material mishandled by Biden involved the nation’s most guarded secrets… authorities finding “information in [recovered] notebooks [that] remains classified up to the Top Secret level and includes Sensitive Compartmented Information, … information concerning human intelligence sources.”

A pattern going back decades

“In Mr. Biden’s garage, agents found several documents with classification markings dating from Mr. Biden’s time in the Senate in the 1970s and 1980s,” the report says.

I guess some of the real differences were these - damaging leaks from the Trump investigation while a media coverup for Biden’s

Hur’s investigation into the president was notably quiet, with few leaks to the media — unlike the headline-grabbing probe of Trump on similar grounds.

Biden’s lawyers said they initially found classified documents on Nov. 2, 2022, while clearing out his former office at the Penn Biden Center near Capitol Hill. The discovery, six days before the midterm elections, was kept quiet until CBS News broke the story Jan. 9, 2023.

In the end, like letting Hillary off for some made up standard for her emails, this guy decides Biden looks too senile to be convicted, so he recommends against bothering with a trial that might expose that.

More analysis

Thanks to your support, we’ll be suing the DOJ for Biden’s interview. We want the actual document. Let’s see just how confused he really was.

The devastating portrait of Biden’s failing memory comes in a week when he has not once but twice spoken of conversations with now-dead European leaders.

“There is a well-documented pattern in which judges, agents, prosecutors and witnesses involved in cases involving Trump have been subject to threats, harassment and intimidation,” the prosecutors wrote

Yet no one was particularly worried about all the potential witnesses against Hilary who have ended up dead…

The filing reflected what seemed to be a mounting sense of frustration with Judge Cannon on the part of prosecutors working for the special counsel Jack Smith.

“But but but she’s not ruling how we want her to!”.

Frustration over not getting things your way isn’t a good look for a prosecutor.

Not a good week for the Biden team. No one can figure out whether this is a 3-D chess move to force the old guy out. But then that would leave us with Kamala …

Joe Biden is fuming mad, and has told aides and outside advisers that Attorney General Merrick Garland didn’t do enough to sanitize a special counsel’s report which concluded that Biden is too cognitively diminished to face prosecution for mishandling classified documents.

Too senile to be convicted, too senile to be Prez?

  • BIDEN: MOST QUALIFIED MAN IN THIS COUNTRY TO BE PRESIDENT
  • THIS MATTER IS CLOSED: BIDEN

  • BIDEN: MEMORY FINE ACCORDING TO REPORTS

Shortly after insisting that his memory was “fine,” Biden proceeded to refer to Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi as the “president of Mexico.”

“As you know, initially, the president of Mexico Sisi [sic] did not want to open up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get in [to Gaza]. I talked to him. I convinced him to open the gate,” the president said.

Along those lines, I wondered why they’re doing this when he got off Scott free for being senile (and running the friendly DOJ).

  • BIDEN FORMS TASK FORCE TO REVIEW CLASSIFIED DOCUMENT HANDLING DURING PRESIDENTIAL TRANSITIONS

like - what presidential transition is he worried about? Surely not when he loses since we all know he’ll win in 2024 if they mail in enough ballots, but maybe when he forgets what he’s doing with his papers when he hands the reigns over to the next democratic stand-in after the primary? Odd.

The White House strategy is to get obviously biased testimony from the like of Chuck Schumer about Biden’s brilliance. Meantime, they pass up an audience of between 60 and 100 million people in the traditional Super Bowl interview. I would have expected softball questions, but the Biden team could not risk the interviewer getting a little integrity.
