The 2024 election politics

true

Biden’s campaign has nothing. And yet he has already raised more than Trump.

The reality is that he doesn’t need to do anything but to nudge for a Trump nomination. That’s the Democrats’ entire plan for 2024: get Trump nominated.

While it’s nice to able to afford a full time personal chef, it may not be so great to be that personal chef …

In completely unrelated news:

  • The family of former Senator Edward Kennedy said that the late Senator was vacationing far from Chappaquiddick when the chef supposedly drowned.

  • Spokesbunny for former President William Jefferson Clinton said that the deceased chef was:

  1. unrelated to the Clinton White House chef who drowned a few years ago.
  2. not a Friend of Bill.

President Joseph Robinette Biden, adds to his list of deficiencies, now to include canine training.

President Biden shows true Democrat principles by blaming everyone but himself for not controlling his current, or former dog. What a jerk.

ETA: And a poor example for his citizens, immigrants, and illegal immigrants.

Clearly this was what they were aiming for - getting Hunter off the hook for his illegal foreign lobbying under FCPA with a plea on these much more minor charges.

Noreika also raised a hypothetical, asking if Biden could face charges for failing to register as a foreign agent and whether the agreement blocks his prosecution for such a charge. The defense said they believed the agreement would prohibit him from being charged, and the prosecution then disagreed.

Biden’s lawyer, Christopher Clark, said to the prosecutor “then we’ll rip it up” while discussing the disagreement during a brief break.

Good for the judge. She’s now made public what the real problem is.

Indeed. One of the few people in this sordid affair who is doing her job ethically.

But Judge Maryellen Noreika did not accept the plea agreement, questioning the constitutionality–specifically the diversion clause and the immunity Hunter Biden would receive.

what about mitch?

I think it’s time to have AGE limits like we do for pilots

I think it’s time we have knowledge/history tests for citizens, and in some locations, non-citizens before they can vote.

The Democrats insist that there should be mass mailing of ballots and unattended drop boxes so they can cheat and steal their way to win elections. Otherwise it’s racist you know.

The deal blew up yesterday, but we have not heard the last of it.

It’s been 24-hours since Hunter Biden entered a Delaware courtroom expecting to walk away without jail time and a codification of his sweetheart plea deal offered by the Department of Justice – wiping away felony tax fraud and a felony gun charge with minor misdemeanors and a diversion program.

As he entered the courtroom, Mr. Biden drew a deep breath and plunged forward to greet the prosecutors who investigated him for five years with handshakes and a smile,” the New York Times reported about the scene.

But after asking just a few simple questions, U.S. District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika torpedoed the whole thing and exposed DOJ’s collusion with the Hunter Biden legal team to evade more serious charges in the future.

The climatistas lose a by-election in the UK. The next general election has to be called by end of 2024.

ULEZ is ultra low emissions zone. Emission is, of course, carbon dioxide.

Jacqueline, who has recently retired, said she was “delighted” the Tories retained the seat as now Uxbridge had an MP who “will be the man to stand up to Sadiq Khan’s ULEZ expansion”.
“I’m sure it was the ULEZ expansion that cost Labour this election,” she added.

Illogical to continue asking people in the West to sacrifice and pay more while the real polluters in Asia, including China and India, had said “we’ll do things our way.”

Do you find the concept of individual responsibility illogical? Because this can be seen as an extension of that, as The West is just a collection of individuals who live there.

I don’t find the concept of individual responsibility illogical, but I do find the idea of taking most of the burden on one side --the West-- while the worse polluters won’t do much.

Why would an individual bear any more responsibility relative to Asia than the West as a whole does?

Isnt that just self-righteous virtue-signaling? Spending lots of money on the means to an ideological end, when the actual end result remains mostly unaffected by those means.

It is my understanding that on a per-capita basis, the West is a much worse offender than Asia.

Great question. And the answer is no, I do not. I presume you don’t either, so please join me at the next anti-abortion rally. :sunny:

Specific to ULEZ, I find the self-flagellation of depriving oneself of comfort and money in the name of a pipe dream to be illogical. Now if you will admit that climate change is a religion, I might consider its followers to be acting on faith.
